The State of Missouri Returning Heroes’ Education Act provides an education benefit for eligible combat veterans.  The law limits some charges for undergraduate and graduate students.  Benefit is limited to veterans who are eligible to register to vote in Missouri, or are eligible to vote, as determined by the Missouri Secretary of State, or are current Missouri residents.

• Undergraduate students – limits charge to combat veterans to $50 per credit hour.
• Graduate students – limits charge to combat veterans to no more than 30% of the cost of tuition and fees. This benefit does not include professional degrees.
• Students have the option to have benefit applied either “before” or “after” all other federal and state aid.
